As reported by the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat), by the end of Sunday, the total number of pilgrims who entered the Kingdom through air, land, and sea ports reached 935,966.
The majority of these pilgrims, 896,287, traveled by air, while 37,280 arrived via land, and 2,399 entered through sea ports, as per the Saudi Press Agency's figures.
The Jawazat has stated its commitment to streamlining the entry process for the pilgrims, enhancing its online platforms at all international ports with advanced technical equipment.
The Hajj pilgrimage, considered a compulsory act of worship for Muslims who meet the physical and financial criteria, is expected to be fulfilled at least once in their lifetime.
